History of Dayspring Ministries
Rob and Kelly Hawthorne were an adventurous couple who visited Haiti with their church mission team from Denver, CO. After spending a week with Pastor Ronald Lefranc and his family in a tiny apartment next to the Light & Peace Church, Rob and Kelly were convinced that God wanted them to return to Haiti for an extended period of time.
During those three months of working with Pastor Ronald and seeing the poverty through-out the area, Rob invited his mother, Carol, to join them for a week to see what could be done to help the people he and Kelly already loved. Mom finally agreed to join Rob and Kelly for a few days in Haiti, and after seeing the dire needs of Pastor Ronald and his congregation, Carol returned home and convinced her pastor, Scott Hoffman, to join her on another visit to Haiti.

Pastor Scott agreed with Carol that the congregation of the Light & Peace Church needed help. Dayspring Ministries Haiti was the result of that auspicious visit to Haiti in 1998. It was soon discovered that there were about 50 other smaller Light & Peace Missions established by Pastor Ronald's late father throughout the towns of Haiti.
From then on, Dayspring Ministries Haiti was committed to "Encouraging and supporting the people of the Light & Peace Church and Missions through-out Haiti".
Today, Dayspring Ministries still works with Pastor Ronald Lefranc and the other church leaders, encouraging them in their efforts to share the Gospel and supporting their financial needs as God provides.
From then on, Dayspring Ministries Haiti was committed to "Encouraging and supporting the people of the Light & Peace Church and Missions through-out Haiti".
Today, Dayspring Ministries still works with Pastor Ronald Lefranc and the other church leaders, encouraging them in their efforts to share the Gospel and supporting their financial needs as God provides.
